Research opportunity for ARPCE members

Research opportunity for ARPCE members

One of the main challenges of delivering a cross college blended learning curriculum is sourcing good quality learning resources that have specifically been developed for the FE curriculum. The Blended Learning Consortium was formed by Heart of Worcestershire College in 2015, in the belief that the most effective way to do this is through a co-development process where costs and expertise are shared across the partnership. Over 10% of all UK Colleges are now in membership. These colleges are working together to share the costs of developing high quality interactive learning resources, sharing good practice and continuing professional development.

Currently there are 52 member colleges in the Blended Learning Consortium.  This opens up possibilities for ARPCE members to access high numbers of teaching staff and students across the UK for research purposes.  There may also be opportunities for the BLC and ARPCE to work on projects in collaboration, to enhance opportunities and promote good practice.
