Getting Your Research Published: A workshop for doctoral students and early career researchers

Tuesday 10 July and Wednesday 11 July 2018

As part of its 70th anniversary celebrations, the Journal of Vocational Education and Training is hosting a workshop on getting published for doctoral students and early career researchers.
The workshop’s leaders are three eminent researchers who have published widely and have extensive experience in mentoring new researchers in publishing their work. JVET’s publishers, Taylor and Francis, are also supporting the workshop through offering a session on being a journal reviewer. The workshop will cover all aspects of the publishing process, starting from preparing for publication, using theory in your writing, actually writing, and being a reviewer. You will make progress on a current project, no matter what stage you are at in the process.
There is no fee for participating in the workshop, but you will need to cover your accommodation and travel costs. JVET will cover morning and afternoon tea, and lunch on the first day.
If you would like to join us, please follow this link to register for the event, which is free. Book soon, because places are limited.
